Lincoln County Opioid Task Force August 14 Meeting Summary

LINCOLN COUNTY – The Lincoln County Opioid Task Force met on Wednesday, August 14. County Administrative Coordinator Renee Krueger shared that Lincoln County has received about $450K in opioid settlement funds.  YTD no money from those funds have been spent.  Funds received through the American Rescue Plan Act bulk public health dollars were used to cover wages, and also for the purchase of a TruNarc analyzer for the Sheriff’s Department. County Health Department Director Shelley Hersil shared she has $10,000 in ARPA Public Health funds could be put towards assessment and analysis regarding moving forward…

Lincoln County Opioid Task Force Seeking Partners From The Community

LINCOLN – Lincoln County’s Opioid Task Force is currently in search of two community members who have been affected by the Opioid epidemic to jointheir team as partners, giving them a voice for the many who are impacted by the opioid crisis. Lincoln County has agreed to accept several opioid settlement payouts resulting from larger nationwide lawsuits.
