LINCOLN COUNTY – The Lincoln County Highway Committee met on Thursday August 1. Committee Member Ken Wickham provided and update on the discussions with WisDot regarding ATV and UTV use on state and US highways, specific to use of those vehicles on Hwy 107 in the Town of Rock Falls. The Lincoln County Highway Committee met last Thursday, June 6th. Points of discussion during the meeting included nominations for Vice-Chairman & Secretary, proposals for new equipment purchases, facilities repairs, staffing, and road construction updates. One new Highway worker was hired on Wednesday June 5th, contingent upon completion of on-boarding processes, leaving 4 vacancies. All four summer help staffers have begun working.
