MERRILL POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT WEEK ENDING JANUARY 26

MERRILL – The Merrill Police Department responded to 11 incidents last week, including one report of a domestic disturbance and and five reports of open bond and probation violations. There was one report of property damage where a vehicle had struck a mailbox. There were three accidents, two that happened within a span of 30 minutes where drivers failed to yield right of way.

There was an incident where a resident wandered from a nursing home, flagged down a vehicle and was taken to the police department where the family was contacted and they returned the resident to the home.
