Lincoln County Participates in Operation Green Light In Honor of Local Veterans
LINCOLN COUNTY – During Veterans Day yesterday, Lincoln County encouraged local residents and businesses to change out traditional white light bulbs for a green bulb, giving honor to the many who have served to defend our great country and protect our freedom. Lincoln County participates in a growing awareness campaign called Operation Green Light, initiated by the local Veteran’s Service Office. The campaign, recognized by the County since 2022, includes displaying green ights on select buildings, such as the Service Center and the Courthouse.
This initiative aims to spotlight the unique challenges faced by veterans and to increase awareness of the resources available at the county, state, and federal levels.
