Merrill Police Department Report For Week Ending June 16th
MERRILL – The Merrill Police Department responded to 17 incidents this past week. One call was for trespassing, resulting in an individual being taken into custody on an active warrant. Four calls were received for domestic disturbances and disorderly conduct. Six calls were received for theft. There was a crash involving two vehicles resulting in officers issuing a citation for failure to yield. Two calls were received for potential scams, one at a local business and the other at a residence.
There were 3 reports of property damage, one of those resulting in an arrest for domestic disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.
