Merrill Police Department K9 Dasty Receives Clean Bill Of Health
The Merrill Police Departments’ K9 Dasty has received a clean bill of health! Dasty was diagnosed with blastomycosis or ‘Blasto’ in March of 2023. The fungal infection, which is common in our area, can affect humans and animals who breathe in the spores found in damp soil. After several months off, Dasty gradually returned to duty and is no longer taking the required medications.
