Merrill Police Department Report, Week Ending May 26

The Merrill Police Department responded to 14 incidents this past week. One call was for a hit and run involving property damage.

Four calls were received for domestic disturbances. Five calls were received for theft. There were 2 traffic incidents that involved alcohol and drugs, both for possession of drug paraphernalia and one for OWI. One of those drivers was operating with a revoked driving status. A man also turned himself in for a warrant issued through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

Officers also handled and assisted the Merrill Fire Department and Wisconsin Public Service with several reports of damage that resulted from the storms that moved through our area last week.
