City Employees Recognized, Lokemoen Appointed To Plan Commission At Merrill Common Council Meeting Held Tuesday
MERRILL – Merrill’s Common Council Meeting was held Tuesday (May 14th) evening at 6:30 in the City Hall Council Chambers. Employee recognitions included Terry Akey for 35 years at the T.B. Scott Library & Thomas Teetzen for 20 years at the Merrill Fire Dept. There were Discussions regarding the hiring of a Facilities Maintenance Manager & considerations for street use permits for 2 local establishments for 3 separate dates. Mayor Steve Hass appointed Pete Lokemoen to the City Plan Commission, replacing Robert Reimann. Lokemoen’s term expires May 1st, of 2027.
