DISORDERLY CONDUCT REPORT IN MERRILL LEADS TO ADDITIONAL CHARGES

MERRILL – On Saturday March 22 at 6:55 PM, Merrill Police officers responded to a call regarding a disturbance at a local bar. A male party had entered the establishment and demanded that a call be made to his landlord before he eventually left. Upon locating the man who was intoxicated, officers identified him and he was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was initially calm and cooperative with officers, however he later became aggressive and would not cooperate with hospital and jail staff and officers. This led to additional charges for resisting/obstructing an officer and battery/threat to an officer.
