VEHICLE LEFT IN DITCH IN TOWN OF BRADLEY LEADS TO ARREST FOR OWI

TOWN OF BRADLEY – On Friday, February 21 Lincoln County Sheriff Deputies were sent to the area of CTH E and STH 86 in the Town of Bradley for the report of a vehicle in the ditch. They arrived at the scene to find the vehicle was unoccupied. The deputy was able to trace the driver down to his home and she questioned him about the vehicle. The 68-yr-old Tomahawk man shared he had left a bar in where he had been drinking in the Tomahawk area and swerved to miss a deer ending up in the ditch. The deputy noticed signs of impairment during the conversation, so she asked him to perform sobriety tests, which resulted in the driver being arrested for OWI 1st offense. He was turned over to corrections officers and booked into the Lincoln County Jail.
