OWNER OF BROKEN DOWN VEHICLE ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF A CONCEALED WEAPON
MERRILL – Merrill Police officers responded to a report of a vehicle that was broken-down n the intersection of 6th and Sales Sts last Friday, January 31. Upon contacting the driver officers offered to give him a ride home, at which time he admitted to concealed carry of a handgun. He was also found to be in possession of a deputy sheriff badge, which later was found to be stolen from a different jurisdiction. The male driver was arrested for possession of a concealed weapon. Investigation of the incident is ongoing.
