WISCONSIN DNR ENCOURAGES NOMINATIONS FOR WISCONSIN ETHICAL HUNTER AWARD

WI – The Wisconsin DNR is accepting nominations for the annual Wisconsin Ethical Hunter Award, which recognizes a hunter for outstanding character in the field. The award focuses on a single action, such as helping track a harvest, returning lost gear, or informing non-hunters about hunting seasons on public land. Nominations are open for any hunting season in the past year, with a deadline at the end of January. Nominations are also being accepted through February 16th for the Invasive Species Action Awards
