LINCOLN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORT WEEK ENDING DECEMBER 22
LINCOLN COUNTY – Last Week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 26 traffic stops and 52 security checks. There were nine calls involving cars hitting deer, and eight reports regarding unsafe driving.
On Thursday December 19th, a deputy conducted a traffic stop for an expired vehicle registration on USH 51 near the 204 MM. Once in contact with the 31-yr-old male driver from Merrill, the deputy discovered he did not have a valid driver’s license, his license had actually been revoked and there was an open warrant for his arrest. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Lincoln County jail
