LINCOLN COUNTY – The Lincoln County Health Department is reminding folks that while we are in the season of giving, it’s also a great time to put yourself first. This holiday season, consider starting your quit journey as a gift to yourself. Quitting smoking is possible at any time and taking that step now can boost your overall well-being while lowering your risk of heart disease, cancer, lung disease, and other smoking-related illnesses. Merrill Fire Department Report Week Ending December 22

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 53 calls last week, bringing the total for 2024 to 2,251 calls. There were 47 calls requesting EMS services.  On Tuesday December 17 there was one call for smoke or odor removal on Rose-Len Court. On Saturday December 21 there was one report of a carbon monoxide incident on Liberty St, and one report of a gas leak on Van Rensselaer St.
