TOWN OF MERRILL CHIMNEY FIRE CAUSES MINOR DAMAGE, NO INJURIES

The Merrill Fire Department responded to a report of a chimney fire Wednesday December 4^th on County Rd JJ in the Town of Merrill. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke coming from eaves of the house and were able to quickly extinguish it.  

The home did sustain minor damage, but there were no injuries. The cause of the fire was likely Improper chimney installation.
