Lincoln County Sheriffs Office Report Week Ending October 20
LINCOLN COUNTY – Last week, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 30 traffic stops and 14 security checks. There were 18 calls involving cars hitting deer, and three calls of cars hitting other wildlife. There were twelve calls for unsafe driving.
On Thursday Oct 17, a deputy stopped a vehicle deviating from traffic on CTH D in the township of Bradley. Upon making contact with the 51-year-old female driver from Tomahawk, the deputy noticed signs of impairment and performed sobriety tests, which showed a level of .383 or 19 times over the required .02 level. The woman was placed under arrest for 4th offense OWI and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
