Merrill Fire Department Report Week Ending October 20

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 39 calls last week, bringing the total for 2024 to 1,831 calls.

There was one call regarding a carbon monoxide detector and alarm system activation. There was one motor vehicle accident on East 8th St on Tuesday October 15 that resulted in injuries. There were 35 additional calls requesting EMS services. One call was received Tuesday October 18 with a report of the odor of smoke on Chippewa St in the City of Merrill.
