Merrill Residents Reminded to Be Responsible While Hiking Local Trails

MERRILL – The City of Merrill is reminding local residents that given our designation as an Ice Age Trail Community, we should be mindful while enjoying the many trails throughout our area. Residents can exhibit responsibility by being aware of hunting season dates and by wearing blazing orange, including on pets who may be hiking alongside of them. It’s important to use extra caution at dawn and dusk, and also to avoid interfering with those who are hunting or fishing.

More information on safely enjoying our local trail system can be found on the City of Merrill Facebook page.
