Merrill Fire Department Report Week Ending October 13

MERRILL – The Merrill Fire Department responded to 47 calls last week, bringing the total for 2024 to 1,790 calls. There was one call regarding carbon monoxide detector and alarm system activation. There was one motor vehicle accident on US Hwy 51 on Friday October 11 that resulted in injuries. There were 41 additional calls requesting EMS services. Christmas Spirit Lincoln County Accepting Applications to Help Support Local Families in Need

LINCOLN COUNTY – Local holiday benefactor Christmas Spirit – Lincoln County is getting a jump on preparations for its annual gift distribution which spreads hope and love for families in need. The group partners with Lincoln County organizations and businesses every holiday season, with a goal of fulfilling gift requests for parents and guardians who may not have the funds to provide gifts for their children.
