Pickle Ball is On The Rise in Merrill

MERRILL – Local Pickle-Ballers are coming together in an effort to promote the rapidly trending and highly competitive sport. The quick-moving game combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong, and was invented in 1965 by three friends in Washington state. Movie Night Under the Stars Coming This Saturday August 3 in Normal Park

MERRILL – Businesses and community organizations from around Merrill and surrounding areas are joining ranks this coming Saturday August 3 to provide a free evening of fun for all. Mobile outdoor cinema service Movie Land will be hosting Movie Night Under the Stars. Merrill’s B and M Solutions 14U Baseball Team Competes in Championship Game

MERRILL – Family and friends gathered at Merrill’s Athletic Park on Wednesday evening, July 31 to watch the Merrill B and M Solutions 14U Baseball team compete in the 2024 league championship against a formidable Wausau Elks squad. Though the Merrill 14U team came up short in their bid for a title, Coach Eric Dayton shared that this years team had an amazing season, showing much improvement from previous years.
