Storm Damage affecting WJMT broadcast and audio signals

Storm damage has caused issues for WJMT, affecting both of our on-air signals, as well as our streaming signal and our overall audio quality.

AM 730 is on the air, however the audio level at the moment is extremely low. This issue occurred just as we were able to get FM 96.3 back on the air, after that transmitter had failed earlier in the day Thursday.

We also are working to fix the current audio quality on both FM 96.3 and on our stream, as a shared piece of audio sound equipment also has taken some storm damage.

We know how frustrating this is for you, our listeners. It is just as frustrating for us. But sometimes broadcast equipment does fail.

We are working on all of these issues, of course, and promise to get them all fixed just as soon as possible.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.
