On Friday June 28, more than 200 people including family, friends and complete strangers showed up at Wausau Aspirus Hospital to honor Corey Proulx, the Lincoln Hills Youth Counselor who was slain in a vicious attack at Lincoln Hills on Monday June 24. MAPS Considering Options For Sale Or Consolidation Of Current School Operations

MERRILL – In April of 2024, Merrill Area Public Schools presented a plan to voters proposing the relocation of several operations into the vacant Jefferson Elementary Building. Also proposed was moving Central Office operations into the high school and replacing the current maintenance facilities. The capital referendum, which would streamline operations and save money, was voted down. Merrill City Band Joins Wisconsin Army National Guard Band To Perform Concert Honoring The Fourth

MERRILL – Tomorrow, Tuesday, 2nd members of the Merrill community will begin celebrating our Nation’s birth by being treated to a special joint concert put on by the 132nd Wisconsin Army National Guard Band and our own Merrill City Band.
