Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Report Week Ending July 28
LINCOLN COUNTY – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 42 traffic stops last week. There were 40 security checks. Deputies responded to seven calls involving cars hitting deer and one where a car hit a coyote.
Deputies followed up on eight calls for unsafe driving, including a complaint of a driver swerving all over the road on USH 51 near the Town of Pine River. The deputy noticed signs of impairment, and following the completion of field sobriety tests the 27-year-old Gleason woman was taken into custody for first offense OWI.
