Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Report For Week Ending June 30; Disorderly Conduct Incident Leads To Damage Of County Vehicle
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 38 traffic stops last week. There were 12 crashes, one in the Town of Pine River where a 25-year-old Waupaca man was injured when he lost control of his motorcycle. The driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
There was also a disorderly conduct incident in the Town of Somo involving a heavily intoxicated 24-year-old male resisting arrest. The subject kicked out the rear windows of the squad car during transport to the Lincoln County Jail. Pepper spray was used to gain control of the individual, who was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on several charges.
Deputies responded to 10 crashes involving cars hitting deer, and 30 security checks. Deputies followed up on 11 complaints for unsafe driving. The 911 Center took 6 nuisance calls, and there were 6 hang-up calls.
