MERRILL – Merrill Police officers were contacted by a local business on West Main Street on Monday June 20 regarding a resident in the store being highly intoxicated. An Officer who located the vehicle made contact with the male subject, who was found to have a 0.02 blood alcohol restriction. MERRILL – On Monday June 24, A Merrill man that was involved in a domestic incident fled the scene, resulting in a vehicle pursuit. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies were notified of an individual who had sustained injuries consistent with battery and strangulation being treated at Aspirus Merrill Hospital. MERRILL – The Merrill Police Department responded to 11 incidents this past week. One call was for a female party entering a residence without consent, resulting in a citation being issued for trespassing. Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Report For Week Ending June 23; Tomahawk Man Placed Under Arrest For 3rd OWI

LINCOLN COUNTY – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted 54 traffic stops this past week. There were two crashes, one involving two vehicles that resulted in a 47-year-old Tomahawk man being placed under arrest for 3rd offense OWI, and the second involving a 65-year-old driver losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a guard rail.
