2024 Cost of Bills Index Report Shows Merrill Households Expenses Lower Than Average
A recently published 2024 Cost of Bills Index Report provides a new standard comparison index for the most fundamental expenses that comprise the cost of living in a given area. Spending information for Merrill shows the average cost of household expenses to be $1,184 a month or $22,600 a year for the 10 most common household bills.
These figures are 11% lower than the national average. Merrill households spend 36% of their income on household bills.
