Merrill Police Department Report For Week Ending June 9th

MERRILL – The Merrill Police Department responded to 17 incidents this past week. Three calls were for hit and runs involving property damage. Six calls were received reporting public nuisances, one of those involving an individual being placed under arrest for felony bail jumping. Three calls were received for theft, all from local businesses.

There was one traffic accident resulting in four people being transported to the hospital with injuries, and one traffic stop for a speeding violation where the driver was then placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant.

There were two reports of property damage, one resulting in a 20-year-old man being cited for underage drinking.
