E-Recycling Event Today, Friday May 31 And Saturday June 1 At Merrill Festival Grounds

E-Recycling is happening in Lincoln County again this year! Residents are encouraged to bring old electronics items that are no longer of any use to them, to the Merrill Festival Grounds today, Friday May 31 between noon and 5PM and again tomorrow Saturday June 1 from 8AM until Noon. Crimestoppers of Lincoln County will also join the event on Saturday from 9AM until 11 AM for document shredding.

There is a $.045 per pound fee for any items surrendered. Items with a circuit board and those with a cord smaller than a larger appliance will be accepted for recycling.

Residents brought 34,000 pounds of e-waste to last years collection in Merrill.

The event is sponsored by the Merrill Optimists, along with the Wausau-based Good News Project.
