Project SEARCH Program Produces 12 North Central Wisconsin Graduates for 2024

While thousands of graduates across the Northwoods are currently receiving their diplomas, twelve of those students have also completed the North Central Wisconsin Project SEARCH Program.

The program’s graduation ceremony marked the completion of an intense, year-long “on the job” experience, offering graduates the opportunity to take this unique learning experience into the workforce.

Partnering with the program were local medical center’s Aspirus Hospital and Marshfield Cinic. Aspirus produced five graduates, and Marshfield clinic seven.

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development reports close to 200 students will graduate across 28 Project Search sites throughout the state. More than 1800 students have graduated from the program in Wisconsin since it’s inception in 2008.

Project SEARCH provides student with disabilities a unique opportunity to receive career exploration, through immersive classroom and hands-on training.
