Merrill Police Department Report: Week Ending May 19th

The Merrill Police Department responded to 17 requests for assistance this past week. Six were for vehicle crashes, no injuries resulted from any of the crashes. Five calls were received for disturbances, three of those at local businesses. There were two calls involving minors. Two calls came in for theft, and one report of a tractor dropping unsecured items onto the roadway near the courthouse. Merrill Chamber of Commerce to Host 46th Annual Golf Classic

The Merrill Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its 46th annual Merrill Chamber Golf Classic on Monday June 3rd at the Merrill Golf Club.  The event offers fellow Chamber members a great opportunity to network, while enjoying a friendly but competitive round of golf.  While registration is now closed, the opportunity for donations, including goodie bags or other items, is still available.  Contact Sarah Sturm @ ssturm@merrillchamber.org or (715-536-9474) for more information regarding donations.
